Pastor j. Spain
Pastor James H. Spain has more than four decades walking with God. He began his spiritual journey at age four, and grew to comprehend God’s plan of salvation for mankind under the informative teachings of his father and mother. The teachings of his parents proved instrumental in assisting him in acknowledging the call to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ at the end of his teenage years.
Pastor Spain effects change in multiple roles in various environments. He is a husband, father, brother, son, pastor, counselor, role model, and mentor. Pastor Spain has severed in a myriad of positions in the 21st Century church to includeminister; musician, minister of music, assistant pastor, superintendent, and currently pastor.
Pastor Spain and his wife (Evangelist Tameshia Spain) are currently vested in the work God has called him to. Together they pastor In His Hands Church Of Worship Inc. (a multicultural, multi-racial, non-denominational church) located in the city of Columbia, S.C. Pastor Spain’s overarching vision is to build a church of individuals who are Christ-oriented, yetretain their uniqueness and are endowed and empowered by the inerrant, infallible, uncompromising word of God.
First Lady T. Spain
Lady Spain was born and raised in Fayetteville North Carolina. After graduating from High school, Lady Spain joined the Army, completed her initial entry training, and attended her first duty station in 1994 where she met and married the love of her life at the young age of 19. Shortly after marriage, Lady Spain gave her life to the Lord and remains devoted to this day.
She is the mother of four children, two boys and two girls. Lady Spain was honorably discharged from the Army in 1999 and raised her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. After the loss of a child, the Spirit of God compelled her to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse. Throughout the years as a wife, mother, and godly friend to all who showed themselves friendly, Lady Spain would come to know and love God in the most intimate way while raising a family and building a godly home. Under the leadership and unction of Holy Spirit, Lady Spain and husband, Pastor James Spain would open In His Hands Church of Worship doors as a “church with no walls”.
As of the current, Lady Spain continues to chase after God in order to be a “re-presentation” of him in the earthly ministry assigned to her hands.
